Dear Church Family,
I’m delighted that we can look to re-opening our churches in Holy Week so that we don’t have to miss two consecutive Easters. I do realise that for some of you, coming to church next week will not be an option for health or family reasons. I promise that you are all still on my heart and will remain in my prayers for the foreseeable future.
For those of you who are planning on returning to congregational worship, here are the plans we have put in place:
All are welcome at any of our services but please be aware that social distancing, hand washing, and mask-wearing will still be in place for the coming months. Congregational singing is also not allowed at this time, but I am happy to say that our music can now be led by a small choir or singing group instead of just a solo singer. We are not offering tickets or booking for any of the Easter services, so please understand that if the church reaches capacity you may not be allowed inside. For reference, we can safely seat between 30-35 people at All Saints’ and between 60-70 people at St Peter’s (by seating people in the church and the hall). The family activities at St Peter’s will be in the hall, using the café tables – parents will need to remain with their children but will still be able to participate in the service. Refreshments will not be served until further restrictions are lifted.
Easter Garden Trail - 3-5 April 2021
Following on from the success of our Advent Windows project in December, we're delighted that a good number of households from across the parish have volunteered to create either an Easter Garden, a decorated cross, or a window full of Easter art in celebration of resurrection and new life outside their homes over the Easter weekend!
The map is being drawn up and will be available on the website and Facebook page soon. Why not spend an afternoon visiting the gardens and windows as a way of celebrating this Easter?
