Sunday 22nd February 2026 - 1st Sunday of Lent

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Welcome to our parish blog. Please try and keep this sheet digital, but do print copies for those who may need them.

Below is a link to the service sheet for this Sunday:

Notices

Lent Course 2026 – Living Holiness

Our six-week Lent Course begins on 25th February, and everyone is warmly invited to take part. Whether you are able to attend the whole course, or can only join us on certain weeks, you will be very welcome.

To help us plan, the preferred way to sign up is by completing the registration form. If you are unable to do this, you can also register via the Parish Office.

Hutton Parish Electoral Roll Revision

Our electoral roll is being revised (during 8th Feb – 29th Mar). The current roll will be on display in both churches for review. If your details are not listed or you would like to join the roll, please complete a form – available in both churches. Our Electoral Roll Officer is Mrs Christine Bennett.

Transport Assistance

If you are finding it difficult to get to church or to attend medical appointments, please contact the Parish Office in confidence. Thanks to a gift given in memory of Carol Fulcher, help with taxi fares may be available.

School Admissions - Church Attendance and SIF Forms

If you are planning to apply for a September 2027 school place (applications open in autumn 2026) at Becket Keys, Hutton All Saints, or any school which requires a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) to confirm church attendance, please email andy@huttonparish.com to inform Fr Andy.

Current attendance requirements are:

Becket Keys School - Fortnightly attendance for three years for September 2027 - Year 7 entry.

Hutton All Saints School - Regular monthly attendance over one year.

Parents and children are strongly encouraged to take an active part in the life of the church. Registering for Children’s Church is one of the simplest ways of helping attendance to be recorded. Participation in wider church activities and ensuring you are known to the clergy will also help make the signing of forms straightforward and avoid any difficulty or embarrassment.

Please note that online attendance does not count towards school admissions criteria.

Completed SIF forms should be delivered to the Parish Office for signature (open weekdays, 9.00am-2.00pm).
