Sunday 7th June 2026 - Trinity 1

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Welcome to our parish blog. Please try and keep this sheet digital, but do print copies for those who may need them.

Below is a link to the service sheet for this Sunday:

Notices

Transport Assistance

If you are finding it difficult to get to church or to attend medical appointments, please contact the Parish Office in confidence. Thanks to a gift given in memory of Carol Fulcher, help with taxi fares may be available.

Communion Cards

Small cards are available at both St Peter’s and All Saints’. They can be used to indicate if you require a gluten-free wafer or alcohol-free communion wine. The initiative has been well received, and is intended to support inclusivity while helping to maintain a quiet and reverent atmosphere during communion.

Cards can be collected from a sidesperson on entry, or during the offertory hymn if needed. When you come forward for communion, please present your card; those administering the bread and wine will take it from you so your hands are free to receive.

Mother's Union

A reminder that MU will not be meeting on 10th June, as some will be travelling to St Paul's Cathedral to celebrate 150 years of the Mother's Union.

The next meeting will be on Wednesday 17th June, beginning with Holy Communion at 1.30pm in St Peter's Chapel, followed by afternoon tea at 2.00pm also at St Peter's.

We look forward to seeing you all.

Saturday 13th June – Summer Fair

Donations for the tombola and raffle (new items only, please) and bottles for the bottle tombola may be left in the donation trolley at church, or handed to the Parish Office.

We are also looking for donations of cakes.

Please label any ingredients and allergens clearly. No fresh cream cakes or savoury items. If bringing cakes in a tin or container, please add your name so it can be returned to you. Cakes may be delivered to St Peter’s on Friday 12th June between 6.00pm and 7.00pm, or to All Saints’ before 11.00am on Saturday 13th June.

Volunteers are still needed to help on stalls during the day. Please speak to Christine, Michelle, or Lynn if you can help.

School Admissions - Church Attendance and SIF Forms

If you are planning to apply for a September 2027 school place (applications open in autumn 2026) at Becket Keys, Hutton All Saints, or any school which requires a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) to confirm church attendance, please email andy@huttonparish.com to inform Fr Andy.

Current attendance requirements are:

Becket Keys School - Fortnightly attendance for three years for September 2027 - Year 7 entry.

Hutton All Saints School - Regular monthly attendance over one year.

Parents and children are strongly encouraged to take an active part in the life of the church. Registering for Children’s Church is one of the simplest ways of helping attendance to be recorded. Participation in wider church activities and ensuring you are known to the clergy will also help make the signing of forms straightforward and avoid any difficulty or embarrassment.

Please note that online attendance does not count towards school admissions criteria.

Completed SIF forms should be delivered to the Parish Office for signature (open weekdays, 9.00am-2.00pm). You will be contacted once the form is ready for collection.
